Common Questions
How to care for my mohair blankets?
Dry Cleaning is preferred. Do not under any circumstances run the blanket through a washing machine. You can hand wash in cold or tepid water using a mild hand-washing liquid. Gently squeeze out – never pull or wring. Lay flat to dry. They may be tumble-dried inside a pillowcase on a gentle program
How to care for my mohair socks?
All our socks can be washed in a washing machine on your normal warm cycle. However, we don't recommend tumble drying.
Perfect for winter snuggling but please avoid walking in the socks directly on hard surfaces.
Can I really wear my socks without washing them?
Surprisingly, YES you can! We've tested for up to 5 days without washing and have experienced no adverse effects on our feet. This makes our socks perfect for multi-day hikes/treks. However, we leave that choice up to you.
Do you only sell socks and blankets?
For now yes, but we're working on expanding our range in the future.
Is your supply chain ethical and sustainable?
We work with one specific farm and factory, owned by the same family for multiple generations. We're 100% confident that our mohair is ethically sourced and that our factory runs ethical people and environmentally sustainable practices.
Is Mohair not itchy on the skin?
We initially had this thought but were blown away at how comfortable and natural the socks and blankets feel and are not one bit itchy or scratchy at all.

Hi Jay. I’ve run with the socks twice this week. Feedback from those runs: very soft feel and comfortable. Cushioned sole. They breathe very well. Warm. I don’t mind the longer top. They have less support than most trail socks but I like that because they’re less constricted.

I'm really impressed with the comfort and design of the diabetic sock. The foot is well cushioned and my feet feel good at the end of the day - not clammy at all. The ankle section is comfortable and does not restrict my leg. I do prefer a slightly shorter leg section though - anyway you can make that part shorter?
